We are working on contractions this week. The book below uses a lot of contractions.
We made continuations of the story above by writing a sentence that started with a contraction.
I found many different ways to make turkey's on the internet. I made a copy of each type of turkey and had the kids draw to find out which type of turkey they would make. I gave them the materials needed and left it up to them to create. They really surprised me. Below are some examples.
Magazine turkey, sack turkey, watercolor turkey....
Marker turkey, hat turkey, thumbprint turkey...
Hand turkey, paper plate turkey, fan turkey.
